“The exchange of the artist residency between Italy and Macedonia represents a connection in search of collaboration and exchange between young artists from both countries, specifically from the city of Skopje and the town of Sant’Antioco on the island of Sardinia. In this second residency, the different geographic locations become themes and contents of cultural and social spaces, valued as elements of artistic creation and experience sharing among the artists from both sides.
Space and places are the common points that connect the mentalities and contemporary lifestyles here and there. The multimedia image—composed of various artistic media and techniques in this residency—confirms the artistic practice and creativity of the participants, combining new media in visual arts, performance and contemporary dance, photography and art film, painting, relief, poetry, sculpture, mosaic, and textile…”
